The K2W Bioblitz is on again. This year at the spectacular Jenolan Caves. We are calling on all wildlife enthusiasts and citizen scientists to join us a 48 hour blitz of local plants and animals from 23-25 November 2018.
Learn about the regions unique wildlife by joining expert ecologists in surveys across the Jenolan Karst Conservation Reserve.
Help find native birds, reptiles, frogs, fish, mammals and plants and contribute sightings to the Atlas of Living Australia Database.
Over the 48 hours you can participate in
- Wildlife walks & talks (above and below ground)
- Cultural heritage talks
- Kids Activities – like the Taronga Zoo mobile
- Interactive stalls
- Botanical Drawing Workshops
Come for the full weekend or just for the day.
The events will be based around Wallaby Hall which is next to Caves House. Once program is finalised we will be able to take bookings for some of the surveys and workshops. Please register your interest here and specify what days you will be available to attend.
